The current yield indicates the ratio of the accrued coupon to the current market price of the bond. It can be used in cases where attachments are considered for a short period of time. In this situation, the change in the market price can sometimes be neglected.

Top Ships Inc. owns and operates tanker vessels in Greece and internationally. The company transports crude oil, petroleum products, and bulk liquid chemicals.
