In addition, it offers special treatment antimony trioxide; sodium antimonate for use in engineering plastics, and defoaming agent and decolorizing agent for high-grade glass such as optical glass; antimony trisulfide for use in friction material in brake pads and brake shoes; and antimony pentasulfide used as a surface finish with a sense of weight and durability for entrances and elevator doors of shrines, temples, western-style buildings, and public facilities. Further, the company provides antimony trichloride and antimony pentachloride for use as catalysts in fluorination, chlorination, and bromination of organic compounds, pigments, and semiconductor materials; SULMICS series, provides various metal sulfides such as tin sulfide and SULMICS-121; and STEM series a composite flame retardant that does not contain halogens or antimony and is available in magnesium hydroxide-based and phosphorus-based types, such as PP and PE. Additionally, it manufactures and sells atomized metal powders of copper, iron alloys, copper alloys, and silver. The company was formerly known as Nakase Kogyo Co., Ltd. and changed its name to Nihon Seiko Co., Ltd. in 1936. Nihon Seiko Co., Ltd. was incorporated in 1935 and is headquartered in Tokyo, Japan.
