It operates through four segments: AUTOBACS Business; Consumer Business; Wholesale Business; and Expansion Business. The AUTOBACS Business segment engages in the wholesale of car accessories, such as tires, wheels, and car electronics to franchisees. The Consumer Business segment sells car accessories through physical stores, websites, and official apps, as well as offers installation, vehicle maintenance, and vehicle inspections services, and bodywork services; and purchases and sells vehicles. The Wholesale Business segment engages in the wholesaling of lifestyle brands and other private brands, etc. The Expansion Business segment engages in credit-related businesses, insurance agencies, as well as provides financing, property and location development, and motorized bicycles. The company was formerly known as Fuji-Syokai Co., Ltd. and changed its name to Autobacs Seven Co., Ltd. in March 1980. Autobacs Seven Co., Ltd. was founded in 1947 and is headquartered in Tokyo, Japan.
