The company is also involved in construction and sale of modular buildings; leasing and related services; railcar maintenance; and asset management; as well as sale of components used in railcars. As of December 31, 2025, the company owned and managed a container fleet of 305,135 twenty-foot equivalent units. Touax SCA was founded in 1853 and is headquartered in La Défense, France.
