In addition, it provides chemicals comprising iron-chromium catalyst, copper catalysts, iron catalysts, and toll productionl; Inorganic chemicals, such as concentrated nitric acid, liquified carbon dioxide, and mixed acid, as well as solutions based on urea and ammonia. Further, the company is involved in sale of natural gas; providing electricity transmission services, leases, steam heat, water and wastewater treatment services; overhaul and investment services; construction of installations and appliances; investment, engineering and technical activities in automatics and power engineering; repairing of control and instrumentation equipment; power generation plant and equipment; plant engineering in process control and visualisation systems; transport, plant and equipment, and workshop services; sea port operation, port construction, property management, research work, sea and inland shipping; and providing coastal water transportation services. The company was formerly known as Zaklady Azotowe w Tarnowie-Moscicach Spólka Akcyjna and changed its name to Grupa Azoty Spólka Akcyjna in April 2013.
