The Edible Oil and Fats segment produces, markets, and sells edible oils, palm oil products, margarine, fats, RBD palm stearin, palm fatty acid distillate, shortening products, and other related products. The company is also involved in oil palm seed breeding; management and transportation services; research management and technical services; bulking stations; plantations, trading, services, photography, and air transportation for photography and mapping; marketing; and the artificial primary macronutrient mix fertilizer industry. In addition, it engages in the investment in the agricultural technology and cultivation businesses, and in the development of agriculture, forestry, fishery, and trading; research; agriculture, industrial, and agency/representative; and house prefabrication activities. The company sells products under the Bimoli, Bimoli Special, Happy, Amanda, Palmia, Royal Palmia, Delima, Malinda, and Simas brands. It exports its products. The company was formerly known as PT Ivomas Pratama and changed its name to PT Salim Ivomas Pratama Tbk in February 1994.
